THIS is insane. Totally, completely, and utterly insane. Kinda cool, too.

Earl: I found it amusing that he refers to his efforts as an "attempt" and that he acknowledges that "it is by no means complete". I'm afraid of what a complete summary might look like.

I’ve been perusing this a bit (as time permits) and I can’t believe how much detail is here, particularly regarding cuts and other side takes that didn’t make it to an album. I noticed that a lot of records were issued separately in Japan. I didn’t know that the Dead had a large following there and I don’t think they ever played there. Did they ever play there? Did they have a large Japanese contingency, or was it just standard practice of the day to have a separate Japan release?

Just wondering. It’ll take weeks to get through this file but there’s some fascinating stuff here.

God. this makes me realize how small we are in the universe. microbiotic stuff........unfriekenbelievable
